According to the transaction amount stated in the selling agreement, buyers are required to pay stamp duty. Nonetheless, the stamp duty must be computed in accordance with the property cost, which must be determined using the current circle rates*. The buyer will be responsible for paying stamp duty on the excess amount if the home is registered at a value greater than the circular rate. Stamp duty shall be computed using the circle rates in the event that the value of the property being registered is less than the circle rate.

As an alternative, purchasers can compute the stamp duty by going to the Haryana Jamabandi website.

All you need to do is enter the transaction value, choose your gender and municipality, and then click "Calculate." The screen will display the registration fees and stamp duty.
