The Delhi Development Authority's (DDA) 'Festival Special Housing Scheme 2023' includes 32,000 newly built residences, including magnificent penthouses. Registration for these apartments, which will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, begins today. The flats are priced between Rs 11.5 lakh and Rs 5 crore and are located in Dwarka, Loknayakpuram, and Narela. According to DDA officials, potential purchasers who register for the plan would be charged a small registration fee.

Applicants who are interested in applying can do so online at the DDA website. The plan includes apartments in several income groups, including super high-income group (SHIG), high-income group (HIG), middle-income group (MIG), low-income group (LIG), and economically disadvantaged group (EWS). DDA Housing Scheme 2023: Flats Location

These flats are available in Narela, Dwarka, Sector 19B, Dwarka Sector-14, Vasant Kunj, and Loknayak Puram in the planned phase.

DDA Housing Scheme 2023: Flats Prices

Flats in the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) start at Rs 11.5 lakh, while those in the Low-Income Group (LIG) start at Rs 23 lakh. Flats in the Middle-Income Group (MIG) start at Rs 1 crore, High-Income Group (HIG) flats start at Rs 1.4 crore, and Super High-Income Group (Super HIG) apartments start at Rs 2.5 crore. Penthouses start at Rs 5 crore and go up from there.

Significantly, this is the DDA's first offering of more than 1,100 premium flats in Dwarka Sector 19B, including penthouses and high-income group (HIG) homes with views of the Golf Course.

The luxury flats, as well as certain mid-income (MIG) flats in Dwarka Sector 14 and Loknayakpuram, will be available via e-auction.

Furthermore, 728 economically weaker section (EWS) flats in Dwarka Sector 19B, 316 low-income group (LIG) flats, and 1,008 EWS flats in Dwarka Sector 14 will be made available through the First Come First Serve (FCFS) mode, as will 224 EWS flats in Loknayakpuram and over 28,000 flats in Narela across various categories.

According to PTI, the current number of ready-for-occupancy units is 24,000, with the remaining 8,500 scheduled to be completed over the next six months.

Here’s a step-by-step guide: 
  • Go to dda.gov.in (https://dda.gov.in/) to see the DDA's official website.
  • Fill out the online application form with your personal information, contact information, income, and the sort of apartment you want. 
  • Upload the necessary papers together with the application form. 
  • At this stage, data such as Aadhaar, PAN, income, and domicile must be submitted. 
  • After completing the form and submitting all required papers, pay the application cost. The application fee can be paid using net banking, a credit card, or a debit card. 
  • When you've finished paying, don't forget to write down the application number.

The DDA Housing Scheme registration deadline is December 29, 2023. Registration is completed once a non-refundable payment of Rs 2500 is submitted.
