Three types of water tankers are managed by DJB.

1. Departmental Tanker
2. Hired Tanker
3. GPS Enabled SS(Stainless Steel) Tanker

1. For what occasions one can book the online water tanker?
Ans: For special occasions like marriage, death, religious &family functions, social gathering, school function, etc. 
2. What are the booking charges ofsuch water tankers?
Ans: The booking charges are Rs 1000/- per water tanker.
3. What is the Payment Gateway?
Ans: Paytm is the current online payment mode.
4. Where can the payment for Water Tanker be made?
Ans: Online payment will be made on http://djb.gov.in/DJBWaterTanker/
5. What is the minimum time limit for online booking of water tanker?
Ans: Minimum time limit is 48 Hrs. from the approval of booking request and payment confirmation.
6. Who is to be contacted in case online booked water tankernot received at the venue?
Ans: Junior Engineer/ Zonal Engineer in-charge of the water emergency can be contacted in case of delay or tanker not received at the venue.
7. Who is the approving authorityof online water tanker booking request?
Ans: Zonal Engineer is the approving authority of online water tanker booking request

In order to book Delhi Jal Board Tanker Online, you need to follow these steps:


Delhi Jal Board Tanker Booking

  • Visit the official Delhi Jal Board Tanker Portal here - Delhi Jal Board-DJBTANKER and apply for DJB Tanker booking online.
  • Enter your Name, Address and Mobile Number.
  • Enter the Address where Delhi Jal Board Tanker is to be delivered.
  • Select your Assembly Constituency
  • Select Date and Time of Tanker Delivery.
  • Select Purpose of Tanker Delivery from given options
  • Though it's not mandatory, but if you want you can upload any Supporting Document like function card, booking receipt of venue etc.
  • Select Delivery Mode of Tanker among Filling and Standing. If you choose Filling, it means Tanker will be delivered for 1 hour.

    If you choose Standing : Storage arrangements are to be made by consumer for 3000 litres.
    Storage maximum duration would be 16 hours.
    Safety & responsibility of tanker lies with consumer & any damage will have financial impact of consumer.
    Water quality should be checked initially at the time of tanker delivery & further no communication would be entertained regarding quality of water.
