How to Pay CEB Bill Online?

Visit the official website of Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) here - https://payment.ceb.lk/instantpay
Enter your account number in the given field and click Proceed

Here we have given the steps to pay your electricity bill in Sri Lanka. 

  • You may also visit Lanka Electricity Company Pvt Ltd (LECO) here - https://lecoapp.leco.lk/OnlineBillPay/Instant_Pay.aspx
  • Enter your Account or Call Reference number in the given field
  • Find out your account number or call reference number from your bill or online account.
  • Click Submit
  • Choose a payment method that suits you, such as cash, cheque, bank draft, mobile app or online gateway.
  • If you are paying by cash, cheque or bank draft, you can visit a Peoples Bank or POS counter of CEB or LECO and make the payment there.
  • If you are paying by mobile app, you can download an app like Dialog Genie and follow the instructions to pay your bill.
  • If you are paying by online gateway, you can visit a website like LECO or CEB and enter your account number or call reference number and your card details to make the payment.
  • Keep a proof of payment such as a receipt, email or SMS for your records.

  • Please enter the LECO account number
  • Click on I'am not a Robot
  • Then click on Generate e-Bill or Genrate Barcode
  • Follow the steps further.
Payments are possible with Visa, Master and Amex cards.
You are advised to maintain any one of the following as proof of your online bill payment
A printout of the web payment receipt.
Email received to you confirming the payment.
SMS received to you confirming the payment.

There are many methods to pay CEB bill online or Sri Lanka Electricity Bill payment:

  • Use payment services such as Mcash, Genie, eZcash or FriMi to settle ceb bills.
  • CEB bill payment facilities are also available through the official websites and or mobile applications of the following commercial banks. You may contact the bank for further information.
