How to File e-Nomination for PF Account?

The government supports the Provident Fund (PF) plan as a mandatory deduction for paid employees. The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) manages the corpus.

EPFO has launched an online nomination tool for member workers as part of the government's Digital India goal for a cashless economy.

Employees must update and link their KYC information (Aadhar, PAN, and bank account details) in the UAN site. This requires a 12-digit unique number provided to each employee who contributes to the EPF. The member's image should be displayed on the EPF portal's online profile.

• To access his or her EPF account, the member must go to https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/ and enter his or her UAN number and password. To make a nomination, go to the 'Manage' page and pick the 'e-nomination' option.
• If you choose 'Yes' to family on the following page, you will be routed to another page where you must provide information about your family.
• If the response is 'No,' the member must describe the entire amount of donation he/she wishes to make to the individual being nominated, in addition to the foregoing details.
• Because Aadhaar data and photographs of family members are required to complete the procedure, the person must select the 'Save Family data' option before proceeding. If he/she has more than one nominee in the EPF account, the total amount of the nominees' share might reach 100%.
• When you click the 'Save EPF Nomination' button, the EPF nomination data will be kept individually.
• EPF is also valid for EPS (Employee Pension Scheme) for additional family members, where comparable information would be requested. A member may make several EPF and EPS nominations.
• To complete the procedure, the member must e-sign the nomination. After that, you must input and validate your Aadhar information. Your Aadhar-linked mobile number will get an OTP. When you input the OTP, the details of your nomination are kept in the EPFO database.
