WhatsApp has now started rolling out the Message Yourself feature to all its users. Message Yourself feature is basically a 1:1 chat with yourself to send notes, reminders, and updates as needed. Users can keep track of their to-dos, send themselves notes, reminders, shopping lists and so on WhatsApp.

These are the steps you need to follow in order to message yourself on whatsapp:
  • First download and install the latest version of WhatsApp using Apple App Store or Google Play Store depending upon your device if not done so.
  • Open WhatsApp
  • Tap on the new chat option button from the bottom right corner of the screen
  • Now you will be able to see your contact at the top of the list
  • Click on your number and Start Messaging
  • You can also share photos, videos, audio and document directly from your smartphone’s photo gallery or file manager. Its that easy as you need to open the content you want to share, tap on the Share button and choose WhatsApp. From the contact list, choose your contact card.
Also, WhatsApp has also rolled out the new Polls feature on both Android and iOS platforms. Its now widely available feature. In order to use the new polls feature, open a chat window whether group or personal chat and tap on the ‘attachment’ icon. Choose Polls and enter the poll question and options.
