How to create PhonePe account

How to create PhonePe account
These are some simple steps you just need to follow to create Phonepe account:
First you need to download the Phone Pe app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
Then open the app and verify your mobile number. Please ensure that the mobile number is same that you registered with your bank account.
Enter all the required details (Name, email address and set your 4-digit password and activate your wallet.
Tap on creating new Virtual Private Address (VPA).
Select your bank account to link, the app will automatically fetch the details.
Confirm your bank details.
That's it. Now you just created PhonePe account on Mobile. Now you can start using the app to send or receive money or transact online with ease.
How to add a bank account on PhonePe
The following steps helps you add a bank account to your PhonePe account:
Open menu by tapping on the icon at the top right corner of the screen
Visit bank account section, and tap on the " Add New Bank " button.
Select the bank which you want to link with from the list of available banks.
PhonePe will automatically fetch your account details and will link it to your account.
Now set your UPI PIN by tapping on the set UPI PIN button.
Enter your card details ( Last six digits of your Debit/ATM card number and Expiry Date)
Enter OTP and set your UPI PIN.
Bank account is now successfully added, now you transact directly using your UPI PIN.

How to transfer money via PhonePe
These are the steps you need to take in order to transfer money via Phonepe:
Open the PhonePe app on your device.
Go to the 'Send' option on the main screen.
Enter the VPA of the payee.
Enter the transaction amount.
Select the bank account from which you want to transfer the money.
Verify details and tap the send option.
How to remove bank accounts from PhonePe?
The following steps will ensure removing all bank accounts from Phonepe app:
Open PhonePe app on your mobile.
Visit my account section.
Click on the bank accounts.
All your linked bank accounts will be displayed. Click on the account which you want to delete.
A pop-up box will appear. Then click on unlink.
After clicking Unlink, that bank account has been removed from your account at PhonePe.
How to delete PhonePe account
Though you might not require that, but if you want you can also delete your Phonepe account completely, here are the steps to follow:
Open Phonepe app on your device.
Visit my account option and scroll down below.
Click on the help option.
Select other topics and tap on PhonePe account.
After selecting the Account, select deleting an account.
Now click on the contact us option.
On the given space type that you want to delete your Phonepe account.
The support team asks you the reason why you want to delete the account. (Give your reason, it will verify your identity).
Once your identity is verified, your account will be deactivated within 2-3 days.
