The Indian Postal Department has launched India Post Mobile Banking Application to help post office customers. India Post mobile app allows Post Office account holders to transfer funds online, including deposits into PPF accounts and other post office schemes. Internet banking services provided by India Post can be used by account holders of post office savings banks (POSBs). You can use Post Office Internet Banking to transfer funds between your own and third-party Post Office Savings Accounts, as well as deposit funds into your PPF and SSY accounts. How to Apply for India Post internet banking?

These are the steps you need to follow in order to apply for Post Office Net Banking:
  • Visit the local Post Office near you or where your account is and fill out the form, you will receive an SMS alert to your registered mobile number Within 48 hours.
  • Using the link available in the SMS received on phone, visit the Post Office Internet banking website and click the "New User Activation" hyperlink on the home page.
  • Fill out the required information and create your Internet Banking login (Sign on) and transaction passwords.
  • Log in now to set up security questions and answers, as well as your Password.
  • It is possible to request a 'pass phrase,' which is an optional security feature. It validates that you are using the correct Post office Internet Banking link.

How to Apply for Post Office Mobile Banking?

  • Visit google play store on your mobile and download the India Post Mobile Banking App
  • Click on the 'Activate Mobile Banking' tab.
  • Enter your security credentials and OTP.
  • Enter four digit MPIN to authenticate your activation
  • Click on submit button.

Lost your M-PIN, now What?

You can reset the M-PIN in the India Post Mobile Banking app, go to the Activate Mobile Banking tab, enter the information requested by the app, and enter the new M-PIN.
