Panjab University Vice-Chancellor Prof Raj Kumar launched online portal - transcript.puchd.ac.in - for verification of academic qualifications/transcripts. He praised the efforts put in by the examination branch under Nishi Goyal, System Manager, Computer Unit, PU. Prof Jagat Bhushan, Controller of Examinations, told the salient features of this online portal, developed totally in-house by the Panjab University (PU).

Jagat Bhushan informed the advantages of this portal. Candidates who wish to apply for transcript verification can file online application form and upload documents to verify through this portal. Earlier, candidates had to submit the transcript verification to their respective colleges. Candidates can pay fee online via debit or credit card, online banking and UPI. Candidate and the certificate section can now interact with proper records. An SMS and email will be sent to Candidates about the status of their application instantly when updated by the certificate section so they do not need to contact the PU again and again for knowing the status of the application. The work of the certificate section will now be fast as well as smooth.

Panjab University Transcript Process Online

These are the Steps one needs to take in order to fill the Panjab University,Chandigarh Transcript Verification Application Form:

  • Click on New Registration link at the left of the screen to fill your Transcript Verification Form.
  • Enter the required Information. Username and Password will be sent to your mobile via SMS & Email after submitting the form.
  • Login with the received Username & Password.
  • Fill the Examination details for which you want to verify. Add all exmainations separately one by one. Upload the pdf file of your DMC/Degree. Maximum size of pdf file can be 2 MB.
  • Fill Dispatch Address Details. You can dispatch your application to many Instituitions/ Universities so you can add many dispatch addresses.
  • Upload the pdf file of your Residence Proof. It should be of same address which you have entered on Registration Form. Maximum size of pdf file can be 2 MB.
  • Upload the jpg file of your Signature. Maximum size of jpg file can be 200KB.
  • Upload the pdf file of your Review Form. Maximum size of pdf file can be 2 MB.
  • Verify your details on Complete Application Form page.
  • Pay Fee by Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI or through Net Banking. Check Fee Details for calculation of your fee.
  • Keep checking your Application's dashboard for checking the status of your application.

    
Note: Please Email the corrections at arcert@pu.ac.in if you receive any Email/SMS about discrepancy in your application form from Certificate Section, Panjab University after submitting the form.   

Panjab University Transcript Verification Important Instructions   

  • No person is entitled to apply on someone’s behalf or receive his or another person’s Transcripts Verification of Qualification/Attestation of Photo Copies of Certificates from this office. These will be directly mailed to the concerned Institution/s by the office within 21 working days from the date of receiving the completed application with full fee as per University rules.
  • The fee will be charged separately for each Institution/University and afresh each time an application is made for the purpose.
  • The full Postal and Courier expenses for dispatch of Transcript/photo copies of certificates shall be borne by the applicant only.
  • Please enter Name, Contact Number and E-mail Address carefully. Username and Password will be sent to the mentioned Contact Number and E-mail Address.
  • Form cannot be edited after the final submission.
  • Keep checking your Application's dashboard for checking the status of your application.

Panjab University Transcript Verification Fee Details

Fees for a person residing in India
Transcript Verification of Qualifications (each time)     Rs. 525/- per Certificate
Postal expenses for sending Transcripts/Verifications of Qualification (each Institution each time)     Rs. 525/- or actual whichever is greater each time.
Form Fee     Rs. 160/-
The fee will be charged separately for each Institution/University.

Fees for a person residing abroad
Fee per examination US $304 (or equivalent in Indian Rupees)
