Orissa has become the first state in India where ultrasound clinics can register online. Now registering an ultrasound clinic is now a click away with Orissa having its own e-payment gateway.

Additional Chief Secretary of Health department PK Mohapatra directed all Collectors to start the online application system in their respective districts and ensure that the applications are disposed of in the given time frame and accept downloaded certificate as valid.

Online application system for registration and renewal of ultrasound clinics in Odisha under the Pre Conception and Pre natal Diagnostic Techniques (PC & PNDT) Act is a user friendly software which has been developed by NIC. This is a transparent system by which registration and renewal process of ultrasound clinics in Orissa, cross verification of procedural delay, average period taken for registration and renewal can be managed effectively.

The new system of online registration of ultrasound clinics in Odisha ensures timely registration and renewal besides facilitating permanent record maintenance and strengthening the implementation of the Act.

The procedures for application submission and payment of fees for ultrasound clinic is now online. There is a timeline of 70 days for disposal of the registration and renewal of application.
