Power subsidy scheme to continue in Delhi The Delhi Government extend its Rs 1,600-crore flagship power subsidy scheme for the financial year 2017-18. People of Delhi who consumes up to 400 units get 50% subsidy on their delhi electricity bill payment online be it ndpl bill payment online or bses bill pay online . Rs 2194-crore has been allocated for the generation of Delhi's solar power, providing incentives to consumers for domestic solar power generation. These proposals had already bee announced earlier. Deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia said, "All government buildings which have a rooftop area of more than 500sq m must install a solar power unit." Delhi Government will also provide Rs2/KW as an incentive to domestic consumers who install a solar plant.
